• Ontrack Eraser services: A convenient, end-of-lifecycle service performed by Kroll Ontrack specialists that offers complete removal of your data using a “degausser”, a hardware device that destroys data using strong magnetic fields.
     Note: The strong magnetic fields used by a degausser
     device on a hard drive will not allow for re-use of the
     drive – so this service is suited for devices that have
     reached the end of their lifecycle and will not be reused.
  
• Ontrack Eraser verification services: If you perform your own data wiping procedures or utilize a third party for data removal, Kroll Ontrack engineers can provide an extra level of security by attempting to recover data from the storage device. If no traces of data are found, a verification certificate is provided to you for your records.
